What is the process to obtain a SpeechVive from Medicare?
It is important to note that SpeechVive is only covered for patients that have Medicare as a primary insurance. This means that Medicare Advantage plans that are your primary insurance do not cover SpeechVive currently. Those plans include Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Humana and United Healthcare Medicare plans at the moment. We will also submit the SpeechVive to your Secondary Insurance so please include that information on your order. If you do not have Secondary Insurance then you can expect a monthly payment of $42.15 for 13 months. Once your order is complete, please allow up to 2 weeks for a response while we check with your insurance company. Prior to shipping your SpeechVive, we will communicate any payment that you may owe due to deductibles or coinsurance.
